The Institut Français d’Alexandrie, in cooperation with Senghor University, is organizing the cultural festival “Writing the Mediterranean”, which will take place from April 22 to 23, 2026 in Alexandria, around the theme “Women and the Mediterranean.”
This week, in one of the most emblematic cities in the history of culture and astronomy, we invite you to discover the exhibition Burning Blue, featuring nine destinies of women who have transformed the history of science, astronomy, culture, and art through the stars.
We are pleased to offer you a guided tour of the exhibition in this exceptional setting, on view until May 22.
The artwork Burning Blue is produced with the support of partners, residencies, and resources.
